The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) is a vital and supportive arm to St. Petersburg Christian School. It provides the opportunity for parents, students and staff to get to know each other by sponsoring three major events at the beginning of the school year: the Back-to-School Barbeque, Student Orientation and Parent Night. The PTF also raises funds to provide equipment, services and materials otherwise not available to our children and staff. To support these projects, the PTF provides a back-to-school fundraiser and a mid-year Run-a-Thon. The PTF sponsors an annual School Board/Parent Forum where parents can interact with Board Members and gain a sense of their vision for the school. It also offers parent support through several evening programs each year, which deal with child rearing or safety issues. A monthly PTF meeting is held on the second Tuesday of each month to discuss current plans and future projects. Parents of SPCS students are automatically members of the PTF. They are asked to attend two monthly meetings and the School Board Forum or one parent support meeting each year.
