SPCS offers Title I Services:

Title I is a federally funded program which provides additional reading resources to students that may require extra assistance.  SPCS receives a determined number of hours based on the Parent Economic Survey given at the beginning of each academic school year. 
Students qualify for this assistance based on their SAT Reading scores, STAR Testing and teacher recommendations.  Students receive planned, small group instruction in our Title I room up to three times a week for 40 minutes.  The qualified Title I instructor works closely with the classroom teacher, providing reinforcement of Reading and/or Language Arts.  Title I simply supplements, it does not replace, the regular classroom program. 

We believe this service is an added benefit to those selected to participate.
