Our SPCS K-4 experience will give your child a great start on the road to academic success and help prepare your child with the necessary skills to easily transition to our Kindergarten Program.  We believe that K-4 children can learn and want to learn.  Young children are curious about learning and born with the desire to learn. Our stimulating curriculum is taught in a Christ-centered environment where children feel safe and nurtured.  Students will develop an appreciation of God’s creation as they learn about the world around them. Students enjoy learning through a variety of engaging activities that promote curiosity, independence, friendships, and spiritual growth.

The SPCS K-4 ABEKA Program provides a quality Christian education in:

Bible – reinforces character development and Christian living via Bible stories and songs

Phonics – guided activities in the following areas: short and long vowel sounds, simple consonant blends and vowels, and one and two vowel words

Numbers –recognition and understanding the concepts of numbers, counting to 100, recognizing numbers 1-20, and simple combinations.

Writing – correct writing formation (manuscript) of letters correlated with phonics sounds

Language Development Skills– a fun time set aside to strengthen listening, fine motor coordination, eye-hand coordination, visual perception, and writing skills via a wide variety of games, and activities.

Students will enjoy a diverse curriculum, including art, music, physical education, weekly chapel, and social skills.

Our qualified licensed K-4 instructor and experienced assistant are dedicated to providing “an excellent education in a safe and nurturing environment, equipping students to fulfill God’s plan for their lives.”
