Kindergarten is located in its' own secure East Wing building on campus.  We have three Kindergarten classrooms.  Each of our teachers has an experienced assistant with them during the morning hours. The SPCS Kindergarten experience provides children with a rich education centered on Christ.  Students gain a head start in early learning with our academically stimulating curriculum taught in a nurturing and positive environment. SPCS teachers provide Kindergarten students with an exceptional education that is coupled with love, encouragement, and fun.

The SPCS Kindergarten Program incorporates a challenging curriculum in:

Language Arts with Phonics and Reading
Social Studies

In addition to these core learning areas, students participate in creative arts, Spanish language, computer skills, and physical education activities.  All are guided by the teacher's observations of the children to tailor the program to meet individual needs.  Frequent field trips are included to enhance the academic programs.  Students attend a weekly chapel service and have recess twice daily.

Our Kindergarten Team believes that the key to an excellent education lies in building a strong foundation for academic and spiritual growth.  Our Kindergarten Program is designed to do just that - all while providing a fun and nurturing learning environment.

Welcome to my Dinomite Dinosaur Classroom!

My heart is dedicated to St. Petersburg Christian School and the students we serve.  In the classroom, I incorporate interactive learning into our daily routine.  Throughout the year, our routine includes journal writing and sharing, Smartboard calendar and game time, math concepts, seatwork, Bible story introductions, phonics reviews, reading groups, learning games, crafts, and so much more.

Come experience the fun we have in Kindergarten and visit my classroom!

Welcome to my Adventure Classroom!

In the classroom, my desire is to help my students realize how special they are to God and find their significance in His world. In my class we all work toward encouraging each other to be all God desires us to be.  We learn all about math, spelling, reading, writing, and many more things, all while having fun!

Come see our class in action and visit my classroom soon!
